Reduced filter pressure?

Hi Everyone,

I did a backwash three days ago and everything went well with filter pressure on target with its norm (my filter runs 11 psi empty and 14.5 psi with a new, post-backwash DE charge). Yesterday I noticed the pressure was about 2 psi low and today it is the same (about 12.5 psi). Usually I get a pound or so increase within a few days of a backwash (as it sucks in new dirt and dead algae and stuff. Water was completely clear before backwash and is still that way. Skimmer and pump basket are clear. Water flow at the step jet seems good. Any ideas what could cause the pressure to drop a couple pounds two days after a backwash?

As long as your return flow is good, then I would not worry about it in the least.
