FSTI brand bleach date code

Hi all, I have a pool store down the street that sells FSTI brand 12.5% bleach. I'm trying to figure out the date code but there seem to be a lot of extra characters. Is this saying the 15th day of 2017? I believe the characters are 6c170151034.

I THINK you are correct! That seems to follow other date codes.

How much are they charging for that? Here is a neat link to help you price out chlorine and bleach to make sure you are getting the best price. Of course if it is a "trip" to get then it is not worth while.

It is $20 for a case of four 128oz bottles. Based on what I've read here it's probably not an exceptional deal, but it is the closest to me and they come 4 to a box which makes carrying them easier. I haven't yet priced it anywhere else nearby. I am a bit concerned about the shorter shelf life of 12.5% though, as this will be stored in a Stenner tank outdoors, and it gets pretty warm here in Texas.

You could always build a small lean to or such to block the sun from the tank. Just make sure it is easy to move when needed.
