Spa numbers - How to a raise TA without raising PH

My TA is 30, and my PH is 7.6. How do I get my TA up without raising my PH?

I also have a Bromine spa that is 340 gallons (I bit smaller than yours). I have found it is easier for me to raise the TA using Baking Soda to the level I want, and then adjust the pH down using Muriatic Acid to the level I want. That way if the pH continues to raise, I know my TA is too high, and I can use the technique given on this site to lower it. However if the pH stays fairly stable, I know I have a good TA.

Currently my spa seems to like a TA=60, pH = 7.6.

Yes, Baking soda is the way to raise TA. I'd raise it to 50ppm.

I am unfamiliar with Borates so it looks like I have some reading to do.

I added two ounces of baking soda. TA is 60, PH 7.7. I assume this is acceptable?

Adding 50pom of borates to a hot tub will help to stabilize pH.
