3 degrees this morning! These are the mornings I sure hope I did everything right when I closed the pool in November. Bring on Spring cause I sure hate winter!!!!!

+1000000 to hating winter! We don't close so we have to hope the power doesn't go out so the pump can keep running. I think it was 12 here this morning. :thumbdown:

Burrrrrrrrrrrrr we are really watching the temps tonight and tomorrow...just had a front go through and might have a hard freeze. We will run the pump no matter what just to be on the safe side.
Not sure how y'all do it where it gets that cold all of the time! At least here it is short lived!

Pad covered with tarp.....pump running.............and I hope I don't have to drag my small generator around if the power goes kaput!
I had drained my pool to fix a problem at the end of the season and over time the skimmer has 1/2 filled with water and it is now frozen solid about an inch deep!
Mine is completely closed. Pump and SWG removed from pad, filter drained and covered. Gizzmo placed in skimmer and all lines blown out. I still worry though!!
