Hello all, my pool pump decided to start smoking. I happened to be working outside when it came on and it sounded strange, went over to it and smoke was rolling off of it... I took the pump unit out and the impeller spins freely. I have no idea how old it is, I've attached pics for reference. Would you recommend having the motor rebuilt or just buying a new pump assembly?
