Pool heater check ignition fault

I was hoping to keep the exchanger alive longer and considering down the road to convert to salt water , so for the extra 100 I thought it made sense.

Having a salt chlorinator will have no ill effects on a normal copper heat exchanger. Many folks think if you have already or go with salt later you need the cupro nickel, not true.
