Hmm. Make sure you select troublefreepool at the bottom, no commas in your pool volume, and maybe to you need press calculate at the top? Try all that.

Use my numbers above until you get PoolMath figured out. You need at least to hit your minimum FC of 6ppm (unless you are doing another drain...)

My husband said our pool holds 21,000 gallons so I changed the number on the calculator. According to my pool math I need to add 193 oz. of 8.25% bleach, 40 oz of borax. Does that sound right?

I used 9 as my goal for FC, should I change it to 6?

Ha!!! 193 is perfect!!! Good job.

No, you want to target an FC of 9 and NEVER let it get below 6. You may have to even go 1-2 ppm higher than 9 if you find that the FC gets too close to 6 in-between additions.

If you want to raise your pH to 7.5, 40oz of 20 Mule Team Borax by volume is correct. Good job again!!! You've got this!
