I would also recommend taking good notes about what chemicals the builder adds by name and dosage on their start-up. You'll be so excited to see water in the pool, and perhaps overwhelmed by all the training info on day 1, that some of those things may become helpful later.
While you will be required to follow the builder's start-up recommendation for your plaster warranty, I would also suggested reading the TFP Pool School - Start-up New Plaster page in advance just so you have a good understanding about what to expect.
