My pool pump and SWG Are plugged into receptacles that are controlled by a timer. I have a short whip on the timer that plugs into a heavy gauge (#10) extension cord I built a while back. I wanted to get the pool open this summer. In the fall I will pull a new outlet closer to the pool and bury some wire. I have the extension cord plugged into a GFCI outlet. This evening the pool vac didn't seem to have picked up much last night. We had rain last night, started at around 9. At about 8:30 last night the pump was running. Tonight it didn't start on time. Checking things out the GFCI had tripped. So I got at best about 45 minutes runtime on the SWG last night. I tested chlorine yesterday evening. No chlorine at all last night or all day today and it was still at the same as last night.
