First time pool owner of a ten year old pool

Hi

Trying to figure out how to get the water crystal clear again. Figured out we need new filters and mineral cartridge - but unclear about how to shock - all the levels are good except the FCI - it is at 0 and the water is mucky a bit -

Welcome to the forum. We DON'T recommend the use of any mineral cartridges. Do you have one of our recommended test kits to perform the SLAM process as outlined in Pool School? Shocking is NOT the answer.
