Hey everyone. Lurking for a few years but have a question about pool cleaners. My 480 pro is shot. I've got a large vinyl pool and a lot of trees. The Polaris 3900 is on sale at Leslie's for $609 after rebate. I know everyone hated this the first few years it was out, but the newer versions are supposedly better. Have you found that to be true? I'm considering that or just getting a 280 from Amazon for $460. Not sure how well it will do in a large vinyl pool, though. My 480 pro had tank trax...... but those don't seem to be that widely used anymore. Any recommendations?

I would consider a robot. It's the latest (and best) technology and you will save a lot on electricity.
