LED lights work best on a close to white surface. Some of the lighter pebble surfaces would be fine. On darker surfaces the colors don't come across as well and you often want more total light than the LED units put out.
Like Jason said, the darker the surface, the more absorption of color will be. If it's a dark surface, stick with white, or use multiple color-changing lights.
We have 2 of the colorlogic LED lights but have a light liner. They are very pretty. The PB did tell us that we needed to pick a lighter liner to get the benefit of the lights though.
Can someone make a suggestion for a light?
Our pool is 32 ft. long and 16 wide. The light is in the deep end only.
The person coming to plumb the return lines made a suggestion, but I didn't understand.
He said the light he would use will last about 10 years and was 500W.
