I have a pentair multivalve that the gasket needs replacing. This thing is totally glued down. I've looked up videoes where people just peel it right off. Am I doing something wrong? Picture attached. Thanks in advance!!
Looks like the previous owner or service shop was over zealous in applying Super Glue in the prior install and figured they would not be the next person changing the gasket out. Sorry about your predicament here I have been putting off replacing mine because if it the prior owner ever replaced it, I am certain this is what I will be looking at too.
Small line of RTV sealant down each channel or minimal drops of Super Glue should be all that is needed. One pool store even told me to use regular rubber cement from the school supply aisle.
