go stand in the aisle at home depot and show them a picture of the return and then say you want to go from this(the picture) to a 45° fitting of the same diameter. shouldn't be more then like 5 bucks. probably be a short piece of straight pipe and a 45° fitting. I'm just not sure about threaded or press fit. defiantly shouldn't need to glue it together.
lowes should be fine for this. i only go to home depot for one thing. pvc stuff. i am a pond person for many years. koi and the whole nine yards. a cheap way to make bulkhead fittings is to use electrical pvc conduit fittings. they don't have the taper that regular PVC fittings have. home depot sells the correct ones, lowes does not. i got tired of arguing with them about it.
Ok cause I just bought a new SWG today (The Intex CS-28669) got it at walmart for $99.00 had to grab it and was running it lol
