Motor Start Switch

Looking for a Motor Start Switch for a Pentair (Franklin Electric) 3hp WhisperFlo pool pump. Model 1203006405, 208-230v, 3450rpm, 16amp max., 1993, WFE12, Ser# 0793033. They apparently are no longer in production, but was hoping for a recommended substitute and where I might get one. I have a five-year old granddaughter standing beside me in her swim suit and towel in hand.....no pressure here......

That's a hard one. All motors now are switchless. Best guess? Probably an old motor shop or like a penny saver add looking for some random person with an old motor laying around? Looks like new motor time, unfortunately.

You should be able to search for electric motor centrifugal switch and find one that will fit it.

Still looking for a motor start switch. The one in the Pentair WhisperFlo is a circuit board about 2" x 1" with two press-on connection contact points. A new 3hp pump is quite expensive. Do you know how much difference in volume of water moved is a 2hp vs a 3hp? Is there a calculation I can use?
