I just added borates this weekend to my pool and had a quick question (maybe a dumb one). Do we continue to use the CYA/FC level recommendations even with 30-50 ppm borates? I assume the answer is yes, and that the borates my decrease the rate of consumption, but the range still needs to remain the same. Can anyone confirm my assumption, or tell me I am wrong?
