Anyone have any luck with a resin or sealant? I have a few hairline fractures on my housing. Has anyone bought from here. I,d like to get one more summer out of it
If the leak is on the strainer side you should have no problem getting another season. Sand and clean the surface and then turn the pump on. If it leaks water even with the pump on, you'll have to do repair it dry, but if the pump is just pulling air through the crack I like to apply the sealant with the pump running since the vacuum force will help pull it in a bit.
I bet plast-aid would do the trick for you, but I'm sure there are plenty of other resins / epoxies out there that would do just fine as well.
