How to fix leak?

We have a small leak coming from the top part of the pump where the electrical wires are coming out of (see photos). Is this something we can easily repair? I'm thinking we unscrew the top and use plumbers tape?

I suspect you are probably correct. I would try some Teflon tape first, and if that doesn't work, some plumbers goop. There are different types of goop for water applications. Lastly, if neither of those work, get a big hammer. Good luck!

try plumbers putty, the liquid kind with the brush inside (same can just like the glue) they have it at lowes and its good to 10,000 psi for liquid

its right next to the plumbing glues and pipes..
