0 CYA?

Here are my current test results:
10 CC
7.7 PH
90 TA
0 CYA

I have an SWG and usually keep the CYA at about 70 or so.

I tested it today and was surprised to see it at 0.

I haven't had problems with my chlorine levels--I have been keeping them a bit high however (as you can see). Could my test kit be bad? What else could have caused this?

I assume you mean 10 ppm FC.

When was the last time you tested the CYA? Have you had overflow due to rain? How often do you backwash the sand filter?

Yes, FC (thanks). I just tested FC again this morning and it was consistent with last night (so I assume that I do not have a problem with CYA. I have an additional CYA test bottle--so I used that this morning--and of course, it registered at 70 CYA (as I expected). It looks like I have a bad bottle (which registered at 0 CYA for three tests).

The R0013 reagent is by far the most stable of all the reagents. If this test kit is new, contact [email protected] for issues with the kit.
