We started thinking about building a pool in mid 2019. I found TFP and lurked, reading the construction threads and articles, then started getting advice throughout the design and bid process, and through contract and build. Once there was water in my pool and I was in charge, I've followed TFP...

We have house sitters for the next couple of weeks and its was so nice to bea able to say "see the screws on the drain? That's my first test." They know how to test, but with the SWG doing it's thing, if the water is crystal clear they only have to test once or twice each week.

Ignore the cups. Grandkids were over. Too cold to retrieve.. But the spa is NICE!

Hi, Pool math didn't recognize me this morning, so I did something like "update subscription" and all seemed to be well. Tonight it said it couldn't record my logs, and that I had no logs, so I logged out and now I can't log back in with my TFP user information. Help! Thanks!!

My last subscription to pool math started on March 28th of 2020, and I'm getting asked to subscribe to premium in order to log my test results.

What's that pool surface? Looks a lot like our blue granite pebble sheen.. and love that crystal clear water!!

You can see our sunledge in my icon image. We have 4 Adirondack chairs and the umbrella. It's about 92" x 92" I wouldn't want it smaller. Folks love to sit there with their feet in the water if they don't want to swim, and our little guy loves to sit there and play.

I understand that... There are (rare) times you adjust pH first. This isn't one of them, but "There's nowhere nor no one on this site that says to adjust other chemistry before chlorine. Chlorine is always the first thing to add," isn't 100% correct, and if a new person got a little confused...

The confusion may be because of the recommendation to adjust pH before SLAM.
