    Diverter valve and pipe broken

So I started trying to decide about changing my filter and ultimately decided to try harder this year with my chemistry instead of plunging into changing a filter and spending all of that $. So as I was inspecting my pool and getting ready to open it I realized that a two way valve and pipe was...

    Playground slides as pool slides

I myself am wanting a slide in my pool, I have a second house that has one turbotwister and the kids loved it. I was able to take all my equipment as new owners don't want pool but alas the slide is curved the wrong way and way to large for the little pool I now have. So I'm planning on making...

    Deck Jet Suggestions

A whole lot of nothing that I can do about it. He came out 2x to "fix" them, then claimed it was a manufacturer issue and never heard from him again. They didn't leak a lot, 2 of them didn't leak at all, it may have very well had to do with the pitch of the concrete and how the jet was placed...

    Deck Jet Suggestions

I had the ones that mount flush on my pool in SC. My biggest complaint is that they leaked a little. Hard to say if it was an installation or equipment issue. I used the 3 stream almost all of the time it was the least offensive for those swimming in the pool when they were on. They are easily...

    Antibacterial cartridges fact or myth

The guide says it helps to keep the algae you are filtering from setting into the cartridge and allows for better cleaning and longer cart life, its not for sanitizing, sorry I was unclear on my last post. bacterial or microbial not sure I would need to look again. I just know I need at least...

    Solar powering pool

I have searched the topics and seen alot of people using solar to heat their pool but what about powering their pool? Has anyone set up a solar system to power the pump filter etc? Electricity just skyrocketed here and it is costing me 50$+ a month to run my pool. Was wondering if there is an...

    Good budget winter cover?

I have been getting prices for my freeform fiberglass pool also. The estimates were around 3200$. Ridiculous of you ask me. I decided to just cover it with a rectangular mesh safety cover from in the swim. It is 699$. I can't see any major issues with why I have to do AB measurements and buy...

    Considering Intelliflo pump

I bought the 4x160 (3050) intelliflo for my new pb. Mostly for electrical savings but also for functionality. I purchased it from saveonpoolsupplies.com which is a subsidiary of in the swim. They have a four month same as cash payment plan that was a big help to me. :-D

    save on pool supplies.com?

Yes I bought my pool slide and my pump from them. I got really good deals and same as cash for 4 months. Basically they broke my payment down over 4 months at no charge essentially. They are a subsidiary of In The Swim.

    Pool slide question

I'm putting the turbotwister slide in my new pb and it costed about 2300$. Ridiculous I know but In the swim had a same as cash 4 month payoff so it didn't hurt all at once. There are a lot of self made ones that are even more money.

Salt generator - AquaComfort, Hayward, Goldline or Pentair??

I would do a search on the threads here for SWGS. There is a wealth of info on this site about personal experience with many of these systems. Look under the equipment heading. There is an allocated section just for swgs. That will help you come up with some more specific questions and maybe...

    AutoPilot/Intelliflo VF/Suntouch setup

I have had similar questions about the pump/swg/automation system.
