    Max-E-Therm SR400NA Manifold Issue

There was no leak when I removed the bolt so the integrity of the heater is good. I think if I can remove all the manifold bolts, and disconnect the PVC front connections, the manifold will slide sideways perhaps not needing to loosen the gas connections. You are right, there is a pipe union...

    Max-E-Therm SR400NA Manifold Issue

Hello, I attached the photos. The sticker is gone but the model number is a SR400NA. I removed the bottom right bolt and there was no water coming out. The bottom left bolt head is corroded and I am going to try an extractor to remove it. Yes, the pool repair company quoted the manifold that...

    Max-E-Therm SR400NA Manifold Issue

Hello, Do I do this with pool pump on or off? Also, can the manifold be replaced without disconnecting the gas lines and moving the heater? Is there room at the front to remove the manifold by just disconnecting the water connection? Thanks, Puertex

    Max-E-Therm SR400NA Manifold Issue

My Maxetherm 400 is 6 years old. The installer used galvanized pipe (3/4 to 1 inch pipe) about 3 inches long on the bottom of the front manifold to install a pressure relief valve. Over time, this pipe has corroded to the point that it sprung a leak. I am mad on myself for not noticing sooner...

Pentair Easy Touch - Cannot Turn Off Pool Pump

Hello, I discovered it was a System Delay. I reset delays and the pump turned off. Old threads here indicate there are two 10 minutes delays, one for Cooldown and one for Valves. The weird thing is that I woke up this morning to discover the pump was running when not scheduled. Certainly it...

Pentair Easy Touch - Cannot Turn Off Pool Pump

Hello, This is the first time I run into this problem. I can't turn off my Intelliflo either from the panel or using Screenlogic. The pump is not scheduled to run. When I press the Easy Touch Filter Pump button with a small red light, it wont do anything and the pump keeps running. When I go to...

EasyTouch 8 (ET8, or even ET4) Wiring Help

In my schedule I have the VS pump running 24/7 at a low speed of 1,100 RPM or so. This setting is called "Pool". Then twice a day (morning & aft) I have another setting called Pool High that I run for an hour twice a day. This setting works the VS pump at 2,500 rpm to create skimmer flow and to...

EasyTouch 8 (ET8, or even ET4) Wiring Help

Hello, I am curious how your Stenner arrangement is working. I am sure that there are different ways of providing power to the Stenner. I have the same panel and I wired it to Aux 7 independently. When I select Aux 7, the Stenner starts along with the filter pump that turns on at a pre-selected...

I backwashed the filter and removed the drain plug. I removed all the teflon tape. I also removed the o-ring, applied silicon to it and placed it back on the plug. I reinstalled the plug and it sealed perfectly. Thanks to Chief and JoyfulNoise for their advise !!!

Pentair FNS 60 Drain Plug Leaking - Suggestions Requested

So, I should not add teflon tape? Or thread dope even? Just rely on the O-ring? Kind of makes sense. I was getting ready to do the backwash tomorrow and was planning on applying the thread sealant...

Pentair FNS 60 Drain Plug Leaking - Suggestions Requested

I just opened and cleaned the Pentair FNS 60 DE filter. I removed and reinstalled the bottom drain plug to clean the filter. I put some teflon tape on the plug threads. Reassembled the filter. Loaded the new DE. Now I found out I have a drip out of the bottom plug.I tried tightening but it is...
