Here is the situation. my pool is closed and has L shaped PVC to keep jets above water level. I am getting a new cover and have to raise the water up to the skimmer. Would it be an issue to fill the pool before officially opening it? (IE starting anything/removing those l shaped pvc/etc...)...

So my liner ended up coming out of the track and got a lot of water behind it. I removed all the water and had a big wrinkle on the 1st step. Since there isnt a lot of water above it it was easy to move. I ended up working the wrinkle out but now there is an excessive amount of liner above...

If i treat my pool like 80 CYA and slam according to the chart will it hurt if cya is actually in 50s?

pool water in tube is easily clear. I am doing outside with back to sun. It is overcast some now. Would that play that big of role? without an accurate reading i am confused on the FClevel i need to maintain for slam process

If it did overflow yes lawn chemicals could be it. This is what i thought but hasnt been fertilized for a few weeks. Either way i am lowering the CYA and starting slam process. Just need to keep a better eye on levels and close cover when that amount of rain is predicted
