    Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit

Re: Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit - I am an idiot Took my water to the pool store and it tested at 1800 I added three bags of salt and now I'm makin' chlorine. I don't know what's wrong with my salt strips (TFT kit) but I'm going to try some different ones.

    Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit

In this case it certainly is. I bought a new IC40 today. Installed it. Same problem. The Easytouch says the salt reading is 1750 and my strips tested the salinity to 4800

Pentair IC-40 IC40 Low Salt Readings

Ahh, another thread that runs contrary to my own experience. :drown: Glad it fixed your problem but keep an eye on it.

    Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit

I'll take your word but that description runs counter what I've read, in other threads, on this forum. I guess I could purchase another cell and have a backup if I can get this one repaired or replaced. What does the Intelliwand do? Would it help in diagnostics in the future? We don't plan on...

    Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit

I was under the impression the flow switch and salt sensor were part of the same unit. It's not my nature to just throw parts at a problem. And $500 is an expensive guess.

    Pentair Intellichlor problem revisit

My Easytouch-Intellichlor-Intelliph combination worked flawlessly for approximately 8 months when the pump on the Intelliph lost a roller. I replaced the pump and noticed, a couple weeks later, it quit working again. However, this time it wasn't the Intelliph but the Intellichlor/Easytouch...

    Odd Intellichlor behavior.

It had been in the mid-upper 80's when the trouble started. We've had a couple cold fronts and the water temp is currently 68F

    Odd Intellichlor behavior.

After several months of trouble free care the red low salt warning came on my SWG Like a foolish beginner I added a bag of salt. It had to use some over the summer, right? Still the light is on. So I check the panel, 2000 ppm, Very Low Salt. Strange. So I pull out the aquachek strips from my...

    intelliPh acting up

I'm updating my post. I ordered a Pentair injector online and received a Stenner instead. It interchanged with the Pentair part perfectly. Before installation, I tried to blow through it. It was hard to tell if any air made it through. It must be a small orifice. Anyway, the IntelliPh is...

    intelliPh acting up

I just took it out and it rattles just fine. After washing it really well I tried to blow through it. No go I lent my compressor to my sister so I wasn't able to try compressed air to clear it. I did try a hand pump with no luck. Strange; in the pentair forum is this comment: In that same...

    intelliPh acting up

I've had this running for 6 months without any issues other than making me lazy. Three weeks ago the pH starting creeping up and I wasn't hearing the pump running. Well, the pump self destructed. The rollers broken off-- just a mess. Two weeks ago I installed a new pump but it doesn't seem to...

    Dumb Intellichlor Intelliph question.

All right, in my new, two month old, pool I just installed the Intellichlor and Intelliph units. I went in to review the manuals for start up instructions and noticed Pentair recommends installing the acid feed before the Intellichlor :hammer: I installed it after the SWG. I'm...
