    Winterizing pool in Wisconsin

One more question, sorry if I'm sounding dumb. Did you water freeze? And do you know what those pillow things do?

    Winterizing pool in Wisconsin

Thank you so much for explaining that. Definitely feels a lot easier than taking it all apart and putting it back up again (which is what we did last/this year).

    Winterizing pool in Wisconsin

Thank you. So you drained almost all the water, am I understanding correctly? And then you just left it uncovered? Or did you leave some water in, add chemicals so it wouldn't turn green and added pillows or whatever? Sorry, I'm not 100% clear on how much water was actually left in the pool...

    Winterizing pool in Wisconsin

Anyone ever left their intex prism frame pool up for the winter in Wisconsin? Is it too harsh out here to winterize and leave up from year to year? And if we can, what do we need to do to winterize it. (Also wondering about NJ - as my parents have one there too). Thanks.

Please help with leveling question (photos attached)

Thank you all so much. We ended up digging v our a bit on the high side to even it our a bit more. Not perfect but didn’t want to have to rent a sod remover. But it’s definitely way better. Now I think we’re within an inch and maybe 1.25” all around. The floor is bumpy but we’re fine with that...

Please help with leveling question (photos attached)

Good morning. Thank you for all your help thus far. So we drained our pool and are releveling the ground. Right now we’ve dug the pavers and set them so they’re all level. Do we have to also clear the ground and make that all level? We don’t mind the bumpiness or unevenness of the ground. If we...

    Intex 15’ x 48” not fully level

Thank you @Msch99 that’s what I’m wondering. How much of a risk is it really. Wondering if anyone has had an actual experience like this

    Intex 15’ x 48” not fully level

So we finally got our pool up and it’s ready for the kids. They’re super excited. We knew the ground wasn’t fully level, but just went with it because we thought it would be 2” or less. It’s 3.5” inches off level from the deepest to the shallowest part. It’s within 1-2” for 3/4 of the pool. It’s...

    Sand filter size too big?

Sorry to hop in here, but have the same question as the OP and am doing as much reading as I can. Can I ask why you recommend 2 units instead of the combo?

    Putting AGP on concrete patio

Thank you. Yes we are looking at a different spot in the yard. We thought it would just be simplest on the concrete, but it doesn’t seem so. Also it’s under a tree so it’ll be in the shade for much of the day plus always have debris in it.

    Filter/pump size

Hi all, is it possible to get. Filter/pump that’s “too large” for your pool? we have the Intex 15’x48” and are looking at the Intex filter/saltwater combo system. It says it’s for pools from 4800-15,000 gallons. Ours is officially about 4600 gallons. Would we need the size smaller...

    Putting AGP on concrete patio

Thank you. So you think if the liner hangs 4” off the ground it’ll be fine?

    Putting AGP on concrete patio

Thank you. So we’ve been doing a lot of reading and are planning on putting the legs on stone pavers. Doing that alone at varying heights to keep it level is enough? Won’t the liner “just hang in space” on the higher side? Can we create a gradual “hill” with foam and then cover everything up...

    Putting AGP on concrete patio

Hi all, newbie here. I’ve been reading a lot of threads here and they’re so helpful. So we’re one of the many who’ve succumbed to the Covid-pool buying and we scored a Bestway 16’x48”. We have a concrete patio that we’d like to put it on that has the traditional 1/4” per foot grading. How can we...
