    Stabilizer/Cynauric Acid slow dissolve problem... Used granules instead of liquid....

    used my spare skimmer basket with a hairnet in it. Sat the basket on the steps about 12 inches in front of a return jet - directed right at the side of the basket. As John Madden would say... "BOOOM!"

    If you keep pool water hi, and a large inflatable in the center of the pool, pitching the cover towards the sides, so that and rain or snow runs off, it would seem like your cover would not have too much stress on it.

    It might and will bunch up around the posts, but it’s flexible and would be fine.

    Solid Vinyl pool cover. with water bags, you're looking at $350 tops. Lasts around 5 years

    if you are limber and dexterous, you can quickly remove the compressor and insert a rubber plug - creating an airlock in the plumbing. or, you can pour anti-freeze into the line, allowing it to mix with pool water in the line - lowering the freezing temperature.
