I’ve noted the FC crash effect from calcium chloride addition on multiple occasions and questioned here what the cause might be. Can’t get anyone to recognize it’s a thing though, because it can’t be explained I guess.

Please check FC before and after the calcium chloride addition. See if it crashes FC like it does for me every time I add it.

I think you mean to say water management around the pool deck is not the responsibility of the concrete guys. Water management of water on the deck certainly is.
