We wanted to still be dry if we were in our chaise so we went shallow - 7”. Just ask yourself how you want to use it. We don’t have younger kids but if any visit, they can still splash around safely. I really didn’t want my butt wet if I were in a chaise.

That's odd to me. Our PB had no upcharge for any color. We just had to stick with StoneScapes and select micro, mini, or regular pebble (touch of glass, etc would be an upcharge). We added abalone for a small fee (I think about $300? I'll need to check the invoice).

We went with Carribean mini with abalone added. It's only had water in it for two days, but we love it. Jetskierg, we are in San Antonio and any color in the StoneScapes line was an option with no upcharge from our PB.

It's crazy because it's the same color glass as all the other tile. The white thinset made it look white and it stood out even more once we added water.

I have my wife to thank for that! She has an eye for design. The tile guy and pool builder had never broken up the glass sheets to be used vertically on the side of a pool. The height is off by about 1/8", but we are ok with that.
