Yea he knows how to use the MPV. The strange part is that it broke on its own. Walked out one morning and these things were broken. Which is why i feel something created a pressure spike and caused this. But its still a mystery.

Yea he is going to try to return the broken one. The freezing idea make sense but its been 90 degrees lately. Cant imagine freezing was at play with the new one as it just broke this month

Are you able to expand on how freezing can account for the new mpv breaking? Not saying i dont belive that could be it, i just want to understand hypothesis and the thought process on how it could occur. Thanks for the input

Also found this, its like a filter just before the salt cell. Its all warped like it heated up or something. Just another odd observation. Not sure if it relates to the filter cracking issues but def doesnt seem good

thanks for all the help here, I successfully installed my CircuPool RJ45+. I took the suggestion of this forum and added a killswitch right at the pool pad and then split the power to feed both the SWG and the pump. works like a charm! thanks again for the input

not saying its a problem, just making sure I understand how its intended to function

so now im curious when I wire this SWG to the timer does that mean the control module is hard off when pump isn't running? so does that mean you really can only adjust settings and view things on the display when pump is running?

good call, I may do that too while im re-wiring. backwashing has been a pain in the Rear running back and forth between the timer and the filter valve lol. so that could be a benefit for that as well
