I am still alittle confused about the shock process. I have been going by the direction on the post about small pools. I have been putting in the 8 oz dichlor for the last four nights and making sure the FC is at 4 like the directions said, but the conversion chart says if the CYA level is 30...

Is it normal for the water to get cloudy after putting in the dichlor? I put the eight oz in last night and this morning the water was cloudier. I hope this will clear up in time. I'm afraid to think what the water will look like after I add it again tonight.

That's good advice, I've already started a log along with the millions of notes I took as I was reading. I hope my water clears up soon it is very cloudy.

I did find the dichlor and of all places a farm supply store. So I plan on starting with it this evening. Now I will have to recap because I forgot everything I've read I guess it didn't sink in too far. LOL Thanks again for your help. Is there anymore advise for when I do this?
