Jandy Aquapure Beep won't turn off

Holding Salinity button for 5secs is supposed to disable the beep, but doesn't. The SWG hasn't worked for some time, I add chlorine. Anyone have tricks for disabling annoying tone... permanent is fine

    Blue/black or Dark Blue cover

My pool is on South side and I don't like the normal "med blue" color, because it reflects too much bright light.. My pebble tec is darker and I like the deep, dark blue color. If any of you have a blue/black cover, can you send a pic of the pool? I can't be the only one that doesn't like the...

    Jandy LT400N Heater, no power

Yeah! Jandy aqualink manual has T/S for heater.. "From the green 10 pin terminal bar of the AquaLink RS Bezel, remove, and twist together the two heater wires; does the heater fire?" giving that a shot (not shock, hopefully...)

    Jandy LT400N Heater, no power

Thanks Paul, heater transformer is probably good... using Jandy heater troubleshooting manual.. I don't have 24 VAC, or 12VAC across heater transformer because I don't have the voltage coming into the heater from the main pool circuit panel... any ideas in there? the rest of the system is...

    Jandy LT400N Heater, no power

Thanks, thats true, but I don't see any obvious areas where mice have chewed wires yet. I have schematic and troubleshooting flowchart.. but doesn't show exact fuse location... is it in top portion of front cover?

Jandy Aquapure 3-port: cell hot at 100%-- normal?

was running SWG at 100%, for a little "green" in water (ongoing problem, high cya, high calcium).. been dealing with deposits in SWG, which I seem to have eliminated by lowering PH to 7.3. Cleaning cell yesterday right after turning pump off... noticed cell and water inside is very hot... is...

So, a week later from slam, and no algae...even though I didn't quite get to the slam level for my CYA... SWG Seems to be working now that algae bloom is dead.. does my 100 cya help keep me my FC high at 8ppm? only added 1 gallon of kemtek chlorine this week. The problem I have now is cloudy...

it was linear until I got into 20's, then it didn't seem to want to go any higher... not my logic, just an observation based on testing...

thanks, yeah, I think I need to work on cya.. the reason I didn't get to slam level is because it looked mathematically impossible...each adtnl gallon of Clorox seemed to increase FC by less..not linear,,, at some point the amount of chlorine required becomes ridiculous.., a better off to drain....

ok, manana - - - Updated - - - Tks AZGirl, will post numbers tomorrow... Does it make sense to Slam at this CYA-level? will i have to continue to pour a lot of chlorine to maintain levels? Is it best (cheaper) to take care of CYA first? (there has to be a govt watch list for buying that...

So I did get my test kit... Yeah, looks like 2nd CYA test was wrong at Leslie's, I got CYA=100 so i spent the weekend shocking the pool to FC between 20-25.. I know I was supposed to get it up around 32, but seemed impossible at my cya level.. i used 6 boxes of 3-clorox bottles... Pool is...

Ok, so I finally ordered a kit.. should be here soon. Doing my best with the TFP algae protocol... In the meantime, sent wife to Leslie's for another test (more on that in a minute... sigh) Was surprised to see that CYA had dropped to 70... not sure how that happened??, although, I have been...
