How do I find the flow rates all I found on the filter says 62gpm do I just x's 62 by 60 that would be 3720gph seems high or is it the 20gpm/ft which would be 1200. I found a plate on the pump it's a a.o. Smith 1 hp 1 speed says sf 1.40 also

I don't have any test numbers what I can say is the pool hasn't been open in 2yrs it's full of leaves and smells of stagnenant water full of tadpoles I've been scooping out the bottom but can't see what I'm doing and the sand hasn't been changed in at least 3 yrs I spent a few hundred dollars...
