About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

I agree. It is heavier than I expected it to be. I can't imagine pulling it out without the handle. Do you guys store these in doors?

    Trouble with Aquapure ei

I have had the same error code on my Aquapure ei since installation. PB told me not to worry and that it was because I was running my pump at low speeds and so the sensor doesn't work correctly. I turned my pump up higher and it didn't change the error code. :/

    Hmmm robotic cleaner.... which one?

I bought the Dolphin Nautilus Plus today too. The two year warranty is what made me order it instead of the regular Nautilus.

About ready to pull the trigger on a Dolphin Nautilus

Thanks for the update on the Nautilus Plus. I just ordered from Pool Partz (wanted to order and Epic was closed today). Total price $688. I've had and returned a Kreepy Krauly (awful) and some handheld deal from Costco which was a nightmare. Hoping I like the Nautilus Plus.

Owner/builder new pool in Orange County, ca. Need a list of subs.

Isaac Uribe concrete does excellent work (coping, decking, walls, stucco, pavers). Baron pool plastering. I can't think of the other subs that were used on my pool.

    New Pool Build

Thank you. We've had the pool filled for about a month. Just got the salt system started. That's great news for us since we had some ear and skin infections and I'm assuming pool chemical problems are partially to blame. Just got the heat going on for the spa as well, though I haven't used...

    Depth/profile question

I did 6', PB said it would be fine for kids to jump off an 18" raised bond beam. But he's screwed up other things, hope he didn't screw this up too.:-?

    New DIY Pool in Phoenix

When you are finished, would you mind telling us the final cost for this project? Only b/c I want to increase my own jealousy on your DIY project :/ I considered DIY but grew impatient & I'm regretting it now!

    New Pool Build

Nothing much has happened this week until today. PB should be back from vacation on Friday, so maybe things will move. Electricians came today to install lights and get everything hooked up. Little perturbed because the electricians set off my house alarm. They entered my garage saying "we saw...

    New Pool Build

There was something here when I bought the house, though I'm not sure what exactly it was. It had no jets. Some called it a spool. Some say a koi pond. The previous owners said they had started on a pool and then the market crashed- so I'm not sure if it was their pool or what. - - - Updated -...

    New Pool Build

Thank you! THe pavers look great. The picture I showed earlier was of Orco Pietra in Orcotta and Sandstone blends. I just did Tuscany blend, but am happy with the results. Tile is going on today. Pavers wet (not sure if I will seal them, I think I like them dry better, but perhaps a matte...

    New Pool Build

Decking is going in now. PB is going out of town for a few weeks. Supposedly we have the next steps in line- tile, electrical, put fences back up, clean up.... I was hoping the pool would be finished in the next two weeks since we are very close. Just tile, electrical & plaster after the...

    New Pool Build

The dog is lost! He was especially out of it when there were trenches all over. He will step inside a pool for a few minutes to get a drink (drinks sw too even when fresh water is in his bowl) and I suspect he cools off a bit. Haven't seen him go swim though. - - - Updated - - - I'm not...

I need some advice from concrete experts

No Kidding! I was hoping the original poster was still around. His coping looked so bad, I hope the PB resolved the issue. My coping was on its way to looking that bad until they ripped it out. Sad to spend so much money on a new pool and be unhappy with it before it's finished. I was just...

    New Pool Build

Thank you. Nothing happened at all on my build this week. The subs that need to be working on my job are busy finishing up a job ahead of me. Suddenly the heat is here, so I'm getting more anxious. In this week I think I chose a tile, the reddish one in the pic above. And when going to...

Thank you. Here's a picture of the Belgard Catalina Slate pavers: http://westernpavers.com/belgard-catalina-slate-gallery-pavers-san-diego.html I'm trying to decide between Bella & Toscana. The darker tile blends well with the stone, the lighter one blends w/ coping. I have ordered samples...
