Startup on Stonescape mini pebble pool/spa

I did find the instructions and hired local NPC certified company to manage the startup for 1 month for $500.l ( 3 days/wk). Sequestrant did not ship as expected, so I canceled order. Local company will add Butech (sp?) and something to bring calcium up to 200 min from 130. In addition to the...

I also had a pebble aggregate surface (NPT) this past weekend. Do we add liquid chlorine immediately?

    Stonescape Pool Resurface Startup

Installed is the NPT Pool product StoneScape, and not the Pebble-tec product as I originally thought. The installer's recommendation is to hire another company to manage the pool startup :( The plaster is done, nothing I can do about the contractor now. So on to the startup. Per the TFP startup...

    Stonescape Pool Resurface Startup

Hello, looking for startup chem advice. Pool is refilling now. SWG, sandfilter, 19.5K gallons. I saw a post from '08 and thought it best to see if there is any updated advice? Looking for a start-to-finish recommendation. Thanks!

Current slam progress, POP is a struggle

Keep at it Nick. I have done at least 3 SLAMs over the years and this one seems the toughest. I am on day 9 of SLAM here in TX. Lost filter due to freeze, took weeks to get replacement & an installer...big green mess. Definitely have some bouncing days; one night nearly no chlorine loss, last...

OK. Will likely need my handy/dandy neighbor to close out this task, but let's see if I was able to correctly interpret the chart: If mercury thermometer is 89F, I should see 7.506 OHMs at points 6 & 10?

Howdy from Round Rock, TX. My 1st post in some time, but I know I can count on y'all. My controller was installed in '97 when pool was built. I did replace the smaller pcba a few years ago with an aftermarket unit. I have also replaced that funky quarter-sized component on the main board...

    Just started SLAM yesterday.

I signed back on line today to close out my "greener than grass" SLAM post with some finishing comments, and I hope you don't mind my pirating your post to do so. 1st, my water has sparkled like never before. Due to some early missteps, my slam took longer than expected, but I stayed with it...

Not sure I answered your question correctly; I allow both bottom located drains to run wide open. I use the water return valve to control flow direction.

6:30AM FC 9 CC .5 A bit of concern this morning as I had not had a CL drop overnight in a few days--I am almost out of DPD powder, more ordered, so I keeping my scoop size very conservative. Did I possibly add too little? Water remains mostly cloudy. Evaporation impact will require...
