    Curious what others do?

We aren't using an extension cord that you would use for Christmas trees. It's an outdoor one. My pool is good size . We have a fence and then a small cement walkway to our patio. The outlet is on the house. So the extension cord is only on the patio. That's enough to have the control box much...

    Curious what others do?

Hmm it may have. We weren't sure why it died although it had started to act wonky with how it cleaned. We still used an extension cord. We aren't using a regular one that you would use for Christmas trees or anything.

Expensive summer for me.... My robot broke

I have a Dolphin Triton PS that was recommended on here. I have had it for 4.5 years. It started stopping mid vacuum and now it won't work at all. So I need a replacement. I believe I got it from Doheny's. Is this still one of the most recommended vacuums? I cannot locate it on the website, so...

Should a pool pump motor last more than 2 years?

We ended up having it replaced since it went caput. We aren't knowledgeable with this kind of thing and had to unfortunately pay the pool company to put a new one in. Im so annoyed we had to buy another pump after two years. They left us the old motor and we can see how corroded it is around...

My husband was looking for a leak but didn’t see anything . Maybe he missed it. No the area was never submerged. Do I just have the pool company put in another motor? I’m not sure what to do.

    Question about levels

Ya it is what it is right now with the swg system. I can’t upgrade at this time. So basically I’m going to have to add chlorine all the time? I’ve been battling algae so been slamming it. My manual recommends 1-3 ppm of chlorine. It in the past has held that?

    Question about levels

I have a Breeze 320 swg. I have recently downloaded the manual after questioning my system. It seems we always have to dose our pool and even in boost, it doesn’t seem to keep up. I found out my swg requires 4000-4500ppm of salt. I have always had it at 2800 per the pool store. They were...

Just want to make sure I am doing this correctly...had some setbacks

?. I switched pool stores because the other one always wanted to tell me I was doing it wrong. So I switched to this one. The blue jugs are very convenient . The are the typical blue jugs you find in pool stores without a label so wasn’t sure if they were pretty standard.

Just want to make sure I am doing this correctly...had some setbacks

They told me 70% . Ok I guess I will assume 10%? He also told me to dump the whole five gallons in at once and that should take care of everything.
