Well.....not sure accessing the valve is going to help me. Just went out an put my actuator in manual mode (disengaged the drive) and moved the handle every which way. In no position was I able to get the 20% going back to the spa to shut off completely. So, it's not the cams in the actuator...

Yup... Mine set up the exact same. Spa mode is 100% to from spa. Pool mode 80/20 (or whatever). Spillover pulls from pool, returns to spa.

My spa returns to probably 8 different eyeballs. Not clear on what you mean about putting a plug on my spa return. The actual return valve is a jandy.

Are we talking about taking the Jandy valve apart? Resetting the valve position? It's got an electric actuator on it....but I've taken them off before, as well as replacing the seals on a Jandy.

Yes.... Checked and they are getting 120v.... And all 3 lights are hooked to the same source. Lots of complaints on Amazon about these lights not lasting 2-3 years. I guess we we're lucky to get 5-6 years. Stupid expensive to replace. And don't last long for that kind of $$.

A quick check on Amazon....the reviews seem to point to this light being a big piece of doodoo.

OK, so just disable the SWCG? I'm familiar with the bleach method as my previous pool did not have a SWCG. And so I'm clear....I should leave it in pool mode so I get the circulation, right? Put it in SPA mode only when I want to heat/use the spa? Any comment on what salt levels should be...

Been reading up on winter use of my ic40 SWG. Pool temp is now 58, which I believe is the cutoff for the SWG to stop producing chlorine. The manual basically says that's all I need to do unless I anticipate freezing temps. I'm not quite understanding how that relates to my use of the attached...

Been here just over a year. Issue, at least that I've noticed, probably the last 3-4 months or so? Not real clear on that.

I know what your saying about the suction being deformed. I replaced that just about 4 weeks ago.... Thought the same thing, that it wasn't getting enough water. Now the new hose is deformed a bit. Like it's sucking as hard as it can... No water.... Starts to deform?

Will get filter done Sunday.

And I mentioned before.....I'm definitely due for a filter clean which I plan on doing this Sunday. Any chance this could be related....as in, just not enough water pressure to push the air out?

Minimal air in the VS pump basket, like a bubble or two once in awhile, but not much. Water out of the relief valve on top of filter (when pumps on obviously), maybe a quick escape of air, but nothing noticeable. Didn't know about looking inside the vanes.....like hold it up to the light? Can...

OK....a little more info...... 1. Backwashed from wall fitting to PVC by pump. No debris. Ran some water into the supply line that feeds pump. 2. Put everything back together. 3. Started up VS. Went to bare wall fitting, nothing coming out. (should be a trickle, right?) 4. Started up...

That will involve some digging, as the line is flex from the pump, connects to a hard PVC line, them does a 90 straight into the ground. Not home until Tuesday night, so any pics would be Wednesday at the earliest.

Any suggestions on how to proceed? Sounds like more than a DIY. And digging up plumbing, rerouting, etc sounds expensive. Want to make sure that will fix the issue.

Yes. When booster supply line disconnected, I get an immediate steady flow of water with just my VS pump on. But unlike a previous pool of mine, I never see a trickle of water coming out of my cleaner with the VS on and booster off. That's why I figured it was some sort of air on the...

Worked for a few days....was gone for a couple. Came home last night...cleaner not running today. Disconnected wall fitting. Absolutely nothing coming from wall. Kept it off for a couple minutes...nothing. Shut pumps off, restarted.....nothing. Felt the return line coming from aux...

Just to keep this thread updated....as I am convinced it will stop working eventually.... As of right now, the cleaner has worked for the past 3 days. When it stops running, I will disconnect the wall fitting without turning off any pumps and see if water starts flowing thru the cleaner wall...
