Polaris 280 Getting stuck at the pressure relief valve area

Thanks for your replies. Neither one of your situations seems to describe what I am experiencing. I’ll try to posts some photos to see show the setup including hose and float placement.

Polaris 280 Getting stuck at the pressure relief valve area

I have rehabbed my Polaris 280 with all new hoses. They are cut to legnth properly, wheels are spinning at 30 rpm, back up valve works, hose floats are good, etc. The Polaris loves to get stuck at the pressure relief valve area. Any thoughts?

    TA and PH

My TA s very high. 150, Ph has been stable at 7.2 for three weeks. Rest of my chemistry is: FC 2.5 Borate25 CYA 30 Should I be worried about the high TA and the Ph being a little low? Pool has a solar blanket on it during the week with the filter running. When the pool is uncovered, I run...

k-1000 to DPD test Huge disparity

Yes, will only trust the FAS-DPD results going forward. Adding more chlorine based on that readi. Also, change the pool return jets so they are now pushing toward the surface and creating surface water currents. Seems to have helped with all the pollen and the clarity of the pool water on the...

k-1000 to DPD test Huge disparity

The K-1000 was part of the TF-100 which I purchased last year. What I have learned since posting by reading the Extending Test Kit Direction is that " The exact amount of R-0870 powder used is not critical. The goal is to add more than you really need rather than using too little. Using too...

k-1000 to DPD test Huge disparity

Testing for chlorine and getting a big discrepancy between the K-1000 chlorine reading and the one from TFT kit with DPD powder. The DPD powder is a new container, so I not suspected a problem with it. The K-1000 is reading 3-6, while the more accurate DPD is reading .5 for free chlorine and...
