Is there a maximum distance a pump can be from a sand filter, or would some water flow issues arise? I’d like to move my pump about 15-20 ft away from my sand filter. I’ve searched online and can’t find an answer to the allowable distance. Any thoughts?

Split from Thru Wall Skimmer Install. Above Seam & With Intex Hoses I’m considering installing a skimmer above the seam as well. Has anyone experienced any problems with the integrity of the liner due to cutting through the welded seam?

Would laying a pad down on top of extruded polystyrene provide any advantage for an Intex Ultra XTR liner, or is it simply redundant?

The Intex rectangular pools use a sliding corner that is designed to move with the pool. What, if anything, keep water from getting in via that connection and flowing into the adjacent U leg? Without weep holes in the bottom of the U leg, wouldn’t water just sit at the bottom?
