Did not turn off last night. I changed the Egg Timer run time for the "Pool" to match the 18 hours I set the schedule for (5pm-11am). Seemed to work. Curious if anyone else had to change the default time in Egg Timer?

Hi Jim, in Ontario (Canada) we are on "Time of use Pricing". So between 11am and 5pm is peak period and electricity rates are almost 2x the price of other periods. Trying to save a buck. Chlorine levels seemed to be ok until the pump mysteriously started turning off.

Hi, I cannot seem to find an OEM brand of cartridges for the 420 Sq. ft filter. First does anyone know if there is an option? Secondly, does anyone have an opinion on their quality versus the Pentair branded filters (R173576)? Tx

I just had my pool store test the water and other than the chlorine being a little low they said everything else was ok. When I get home later I will look at the CYA level, I don't remember off hand. We have had a lot of warm sunny weather here and yes the pool is not holding the chlorine well...

Thanks for the advice. Based on this discussion and multiple discussions with a variety of nurseries we ended up using a mix of Pyramidal English Oak, Japanese Ivory Lilac, Pear trees and blue spruce. We'll see this fall how it all works...

Hi, just putting in a pool and am looking for some tall trees for privacy. Of course I would prefer they be trees that are not too messy. I will be using Blue Spruces and White Pines but looking for something other than evergreens. I am in Toronto, Ontario. Any suggestions?
