I recently purchased HDX from HD ... not confident of age n strength. Put one gallon in closed pool b4 going away for week. Just in case I floated one puck as well. Chlorine was at zero will see when I return home to NJ to open pool.

What's best to use for repair of both tile grout and coping

I will close my pool this weekend and I am concerned with the cracks in the coping grout approx 1/2 doz around the pool. If we have a tough winter like LY could be bigger problem next year. Any advice on what to use to repair before closing?

I need to replace my spa blower Polaris 470-02 60hz 240v 1.6 hp. It's attached to my pool. Question: very little dif in price fr 1.5 hp to 2 hp. Should I go with larger and will it make much dif?

Just installed new pump. Used the putty on the PVC threads attached to pump and there's a very small leak even after retightening. I put a lot of putty ... I was going to redo next weekend but any recommendation other than the putty?

Stains are coming up with trichlor tab and time.

Is this inline filter needed when using BBB? It was installed when pool built, filters are $100.

I had a oak tree land in my pool during Sandy. We had to wait for claim agent to come and assess the damage. Pool was closed w/o removing all the debris because they wanted it drained to inspect. We opened up couple weeks ago, drained, power wash, filled so wouldn't damage pool while waiting...

Placed the order for my new pump. No one local had one in stock and my noisy whisperflo doesn't sound like it will last much longer. Watched a couple install videos some use grey and some use blue PVC cement. Upside for gray is drying time but any downside? Recommendation for NJ climate?

Currently have Pentair single speed that's 7 yrs old and needs to be replaced. Recommend same WFE 28 or is there a better option for pool/spa IG pool?

I have a noisy pentair WFE 28 and was hoping to replace the motor. When I tried to disassemble one of the 4 long bolts snapped. There was a lot of corrosion on other bolts. It's a 7 year old 30k inground A & S gunite pool. Looks like I need to replace pump. Seven years seems pretty good life...
