CircuPool RJ+ connection to EasyTouch - critique my wiring plan

I'm hoping the expert eyes and heads on TFP can evaluate a plan I'm considering. I'm installing a CircuPool RJ+ and will be connecting it to the load side of my Easytouch Relays. I'm also removing a pressure side cleaner pump I no longer use. Below is a picture of the relays. The top-left is...

    Stenner pump install planning

Very much appreciate all the info. Have I properly identified the load screws on my setup in #16 above best you can tell?

And here's the wiring pic. Are the load screws 1 and 3 (black wires) on the top left relay?

    Stenner pump install planning

Thanks. To this point about controls, I use the ScreenLogic app on my phone for remote control of things on the EasyTouch when not standing at the equipment box (I don't have any other Pentair remotes). I don't see Intellichlor controls in the app, but of course I don't have an Intellichlor...

    Stenner pump install planning

Alright, pool friends, you've convinced me to go the SWCG route. Now the dilemma of which brand to buy. A Pentair IC60 or a Circupool RJ-60+? Looks like I can get both for around the same pricing on the internet. But, Pentair is a 2 year warranty if pro-installed (and some locals won't do it...

    Stenner pump install planning

That's good to know. If going to look at SWCGs, should I stick to Pentair to match the other equipment or shop more broadly? Still on the fence honestly, but good info. If this stenner pump route is just a horror story I'm about to enter, not just a little less convenient than a SWCG, please...

    Stenner pump install planning

Thanks. My biggest concern is saltwater killing grass and shrubs. Water drains from the pad across a shrub bed and stretch of lawn to the drive way. I have a centrifugal pre-filter that has to be flushed periodically, so between that and the water released cleaning the cartridge filter, I'm...

    Stenner pump install planning

Thanks, yes, I have. Several reasons I'm not quite ready to make the switch to a SWCG. May get there eventually, though.

    Stenner pump install planning

Hi all, I recently ordered a Stenner EconT pump and reservoir that I'm installing to replace a Pentair Rainbow tab chlorinator. A pic of my setup is attached (with the tab chlor still connected). A couple questions on the plumbing and wiring plan: 1. Is there a way to connect the 1/4 inch...

    Newbie in Dallas

IMO, all home warranties are borderline fraud and not worth the money because the many exceptions almost overtake the coverage to the point of being illusory. That said, I have one now because it was included at seller's expense in a recent home purchase. If you can, buy whichever one you get...

    Robotic cleaner advise

Hello! I just researched and bought this one, which I'm told is same as a Polaris. The manufacturer relabels for Polaris. Have used it about 2 weeks and no complaints so far. Fast shipping and no sales tax to TX from Marina Pool...

Air space under pump lid - problem or worried about nothing?

Thank you both. Higher RPMs shrink the bubble by 1/2 but it doesn't disappear. Admittedly, I haven't tried it above 3000RPM. If a leak, seems to me a higher setting would pull more air, not less, so maybe that's a good sign. I replaced the drain plug gaskets when doing the others and lubed...

Air space under pump lid - problem or worried about nothing?

Hi all, I'm a few months into pool ownership of about a 4 yr old in-ground pool (details in signature). Prior owner had the variable speed pump running 3200 RPMs, not sure why. After replacing the very worn/dirty filter cartridges and reading about pump setting recommendations on this site, I...

Thank you. It's black algae, scapes green. Will treat it as indicated.

    Newby w/ black algae spots

New house with pool. I've been following the TFP program religiously for about a month now. Noticed when I bought the house mid-Nov a few black algae spots on a horizontal seat. Thought maybe with cold water and time they'd go away considering higher chlorine levels I'm running because of...

FWIW Jacuzzi JMC16 Centrifugal Prefilter is Identical Replacement for WaterCo MultiCyclone 50

Had a cracked, leaking WaterCo MultiCyclone 50 Prefilter. Looking online, found a Jacuzzi JMC16 on sale at Leslie's. Swapped it out, they're identical products. Fittings even say WaterCo in spots. FYI if you find a need to replace one.
