First winter with new merlin solid cover!

Hello all. We closed our pool this year with a merlin solid safety cover with pump. This will be our first winter with this on lol. My only question is, should the center of the cover be sagging or have a shallow low spot? Im assuming its either natural or done to channel the water to the...

could this be from a floating liner?

Erinkline im not sure yet. We have never had a winter and spring quite like this. Except in 1993 when we got 28" of snow dumped on us but I was only 10 lol. Ive definately considered it but dont know what would be involved as far as cost.

could this be from a floating liner?

Hello all. I noticed over winter upon doing a quick check there was a sag right below the shallow end return jet. Didnt think too much of it at the time. But upon taking the cover off yesterday I noticed a star shaped set of small wrinkles in the shallow end bottom. Needless to say I was...

I also wanted to ask with me working 8-5 monday thru friday should i wait til weekends to shock? I know you gotta test very often during the process and liquid chlorine is best used in early morning or evening. I just didnt wanna be up at 3-4 in the am. My wife would have a fit lol.

    Another new pool owner!

Your correct. Ive been using the 25ml mark. I will use the 10ml from now on cause as you said it saves drops.

Im sorry i should have said something earlier. The pool is crystal clear. I mean i could read newprint in the deep end lol. It only took two or three days to clear all the dead algae up when the pool store shocked it. My main trouble is getting the fc to stay and lower the cc. I noticed a...
