Just to wrap this up - had a local Omni specialist round. Apparently the HV feed was the wrong polarity or something (I didn’t understand) but now all is well. HUA was picked up by Omni fine and its running nicely. :-) Thanks again for all the help.

pump is now on continuous power after being off for a few hours - I will recheck the wiring but when I first powered on the pump (without the bus control wire connected) it was giving the same “com error check display wiring” msg. I wonder if it is faulty.

I guessed I had to do that. When I did so, the display is reporting a com failure with display - check wiring. Is it rubber ducked?

Ok tks. The power has been off overnight and still no joy. I’ll try it again tho. The pool hasn’t had a pump on for a few days and needs pumping out. Is it possible to use the VSP in single speed mode controlled by the relay?

Thanks for pointing out that I hadn’t moved the HV from relay to direct break (doh, why didn’t I think of that? It is in the instructions too..) Done that now and VSP has 2 x 120v at pump. However, the Omni isn’t picking up an HUA from the VSP and I can’t fill in the blank box. I hope that pump...

Went out with my umbrella - Pump HUA - aha! My 72 yo eyes only work in the vertical plane it seems! Yup - HUA where you said it was… Thanks. And, the VSP *is* hooked to the HV relay. Tomorrow morning I’ll rewire it direct to the breaker.

Ref display wires - I just unplugged them at the display so those wires aren’t connected.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the help. The dip switches are all 0 but I *didn’t* realise the VSP needed to be rewired - I just disconnected the single speed at the pump and used the same wires into the VSP. I’ll take a look where that is connected - presumably as you suggested, into a relay. Hammering...

Yes - that’s what I thought but it’s not the HUA on the pump label. Also, it didn’t start!

AJ - Yes - then I found the HUA was prefilled (not sure from where/what!) as in pic below*. I’m thinking that HUA wasn’t correct as the pump didn’t start. The label in the pump says 10010613-001-001 so I’m thinking that should be found by the Omni and would like to try entering 10-01-06-13 but...

In post above, config instructions say “selecting the box (which is blank) will bring up a table of connected devices”. It doesn’t - as if the VSP isn’t connected. Stuck!
