Did you ever get this resolved? We are thinking of adding abalone to our Stonescapes mini pebble with Puerto Rico blend (3 bags) and will definitely not so it if the alalone has even a slight chance of staining?

Sorry for the confusion. You can choose 1, 2, or 3 bags of the beads in the small variety.

what did you go with? Photos? We are close to choosing final medium. Leaning towards Stonescapes Aqua White with 3 bags of the Puerto Rico glass and abalone added as well.

We are about to do the same finish. Was yours the 3 bag small? Did you also add abalone? My PC said he would for free but I'm also hearing abalone may have problems long term.

Yes, it may be dead algae as I had a lot last year... So I increase the CYA with cyanuric acid from pool store...about how much for a 15K pool? I'm guessing Muratic acid will do nothing for this except lower my PH which i don't want. (asking because I have some) Yes, the FC remained at 2ppm...
