New build in Atlanta, GA - Nov 24

This is exactly how ours went, pebble, acid wash the next day, and immediately start filling. We also used the same brand of pebble, what color are you going with?

Check out something like this. You can choose the opening size, and wire thickness, you're going to need .120 minimum to meet the 11ga specs. https://simplebooklet.com/wiremeshcatalog1#page=1

I wouldn't think you'd have any issues using hog wire for the fill in your enclosure fencing, as long as it meets the maximum opening sizes. We did a little different style here in AZ for a rustic vibe.

TFP Intro - SoCal - New Build

This is what we opted to do, we originally wanted several holes around the deck, but our pool builder recommended against it because they would never be exactly where we wanted shade as the sun the moved.

    When to heat my pool?

Just for an FYI, I lost 4 degrees overnight, so not too bad.

    When to heat my pool?

LOL, we're prepared for a $600 bill. I'm at 71 now, hoping to get to 75 tonight, hopefully loose 5ish degrees tonight, and then get to 80ish tomorrow afternoon. My Pool Attendant app says, I'm running at $11/hr currently

    When to heat my pool?

I have it running now, pump runs from 8am-4pm, I'm gonna bump it up so it runs till 8pm tonight. It's currently heating at about 2 degrees an hour, I'm at 61 now. I don't have a cover yet, so thats not an option at this point. Thank you for all the replies.

    When to heat my pool?

Having a party tomorrow evening and we're going to heat the pool. My current water temp is 53 degrees. Current weather here in AZ is 75 during the day, mid 40's at night. 17K gallons, and a 40KBTU Pentair heater. Should I heat this thing during the day or at night? And how long per day...

I'd be happy to fire up this heater, but I might have to start a gofundme

    AZ Pool Build

I haven't' measured it, nor had activity in the pool yet, it's too cold, and I can't run my heater yet. But looking at it, I'd say the bottom of my tale is about 2-3" off the water, and the top around 5" from the water line. I'll try and throw a tape measure on it at some point today.

    Spa Plumbing

I assume you are talking about the open ended pipe? If so, I just learned what this last week. We just finished our pool build, when I was doing the walk thru I asked, what's this open ended pipe? Answer was, it's a venturi to suck air into the jets of the build in Spa. It's how the the air is...

    AZ Pool Build

Final number was 17,000 gallons, smaller than we calculated by a few thousand gallons, but I dont think the meter lies. Started up the pumps yesterday evening, and the start up people added their first chemicals. Had to jump in yesterday, it was 85 out, and I needed some pool time.

    AZ Pool Build

It's filling time, pebble company had one of their guys here to acid wash, clean and start the filling process. My guess is full sometime tomorrow afternoon, maybe. I took a picture of my meter so I can figure out the exact gallons. Anyone want to take a guess? It's approx. 36x18 with an 8ft...

    AZ Pool Build

Pre-plaster inspection complete. Pool builder has a punch list, and they are saying pebble and start filling this week. Got the ledger stone installed, we're not totally happy with the color, but when we wet it, it's outstanding, so we're planning on applying some color enhancer to it. Also...
