please advise: torn rubber flexible hole-flange: is fused part of wall Intex ultra frame. no replacement part. where suction line attaches.

I replaced the little inlet fittings with 2 Hayward through-wall Skimmers on my Ultraframe, which involved (careful!) cutting and some patching glue. No leaks there in 4 years of continuous use. Yes it's a bit nerve-wracking to cut the liner, but patching is completely possible.

Will an intex ultra frame xtr liner fit on older ultra frame? In other words is the top hole in the liner the same size or larger on xtr?

Update after testing the old beams in the new liner: As I suspected, Ultraframe and Ultraframe XTR beams and liners are in fact COMPATIBLE. I got an XTR t-joint and horizontal beam; they fit together with old frame parts and liner. I got an XTR liner; old frame parts fit just fine. The...

Will an intex ultra frame xtr liner fit on older ultra frame? In other words is the top hole in the liner the same size or larger on xtr?

Update to this, being a tinkering sort of person who is uninclined to just believe company reps who want to sell me things... I have had several types and sizes of Intex pools, and old parts in bins because they might be useful sometime. I have observed that the part numbers apply to multiple...

Will an intex ultra frame xtr liner fit on older ultra frame? In other words is the top hole in the liner the same size or larger on xtr?

The t joint 12427 is the same part for similar sized ultraframe pools (not xtr, they changed the design), and the legs and beams are the same length, shape, diameter between my current 22' and old 20' pool, which is why I think the frame could be modified. The question I have for anyone who...

Will an intex ultra frame xtr liner fit on older ultra frame? In other words is the top hole in the liner the same size or larger on xtr?

I have an Intex 22' x 52" round ultra frame, bought in 2019. The liner is (Florida) sun damaged, but of course it's discontinued 🙄 Intex does have 24' x 52" replacement liner for ultraframe xtr. I kept several of the better leg poles and support beams from my previous pool, also round 52" so...

I need the measurements of where to place pavers for intex 32’ x 16’ x 52” above ground pool.

I only have owned round Intex pools, but several of those. I don't know exactly how the forces differ on the rectangular sides, but the round ones do NOT stand straight, the bottom presses outward. Look at their easyset pools - the ones with no frame and an inflatable top ring - the main part...

Bonding a Hayward pump with an Intex pool?

First of all, I don't know electrical things and I've tried to get a pool installer or an electrician to come out and do this for me, but they won't. It may be that this is just not necessary; I would like an opinion from anyone who does know about electrical things and soft sided AGP pools...

New Intex 26' Ultra Frame Owners

I'm curious how the additional suction line turned out? I'm a bit paranoid so I've thought maybe keep some sort of dive knife in the pool next to the port, so if you got caught you could slash the side and all the water rushes out (I did that from the outside last time I replaced my pool -...

Intex ultraframe 22' x 52" sides of liner bowing out at bottom

I've had several sizes and types of intex pools but the new one is doing something odd, wondering if it's normal because larger size or something wrong. I originally put down bricks under each foot, like I used for my old 18' one. I know it shifts as it fills so they go perpendicular to the...

A couple of questions about AGP with SWG in Florida

I have had intex pools for several years, various different kinds/sizes. I'm closing in on exactly what works for me: 22' ultraframe with added Haywood through-wall skimmer, sand filter, chlorine generator, pvc pipe, wood deck stairs, tank filler, overflow spout. I just have to figure out a...

    Automatic salt?

It's not easy from my perspective.... and yes special challenges in Florida - if it's not too much salt from the sun beating down evaporating the water, then it's too little salt from the rain pouring down and overfilling the pool. I have the pool at a very slight angle so overflow goes out...

    Automatic salt?

Has anyone figured a way to have an automatic salt dispenser for use with a chlorine generator? I suppose it would need some kind of sensor to see when salt level is low. There doesn't seem to be anything on the market that I can find.

Custom PVC Pipe Adapter for Intex Pools

I have an 18' ultraframe, and have been hunting for the perfect adapter. There's nothing *exact* of course, but I found a spa part that is very close. Dura 1.5 x 1.25 inch slip slip reducer bushing is smooth, the edges are round, and the outside flange on one end is the perfect thickness to go...

where to put the through wall skimner on intex pool?

I have an 18' ultraframe with sand filter and separate chlorine generator. I got a Hayward Skimmer and have figured out the parts to adapt standard pvc pipe to those obnoxious non-standard intex hoses and fittings.... now for the part where I chop hole in the liner. What I'm wondering about is...

Custom PVC Pipe Adapter for Intex Pools

This is for people who don't speak hardware-ese or have a bunch of tools...... Living in Florida, I have to replace the intex hoses a couple times a year because they can't stand up to the sun and salt air, and that's expensive. I decided the simplest solution was to find a substitute for the...
