I like to run my variable speed pump on low speed 24/7 for skimmer action. I have a hayward SWG Aquarite 940. Is it better to run 24 /7 at lower output or shorter time at 100%. My guess it doesn't matter but just wanna get some feedback.

A lot of light conduits end of leaking over time therefore you need to plug them. Someone makes a plug for this which goes over the cord and plugs the line. I cant remember who. I plugged it with butyl tape. Its a pliable rubber type material that doesn't get hard. You can put in on under water...

If you cap the line and then put antifreeze in quickly it sometimes locks in the air which i think is happening to you. I drain below the returns and them blow out the lines. When i add the antifreeze sometimes i will have to remove a plug so the air can escape and the antifreeze go in the line...
