High Pressure - didn't change when I cleaned cartridges

Thank you all for your help. Based on what y'all said, it looks like I have a defective pressure gauge. It doesn't go back down to 0 when the pump is off. It's always somewhere between 22-28 psi whether on or off.

High Pressure - didn't change when I cleaned cartridges

Ok thank y'all. Just checking, should the gauge read 0 when the pump is off? And how do I find what is the normal operating psi? I read the manual and it seems like a lot of factors play into it. But I didn't build it, so how do I know?

How to turn off Salt Cell when Pump is off

I see. Thanks for that. The cell still works on the low speed setting. So is this what you would run 24/7? The lowest amount possible to keep the cell operating?

High Pressure - didn't change when I cleaned cartridges

Yes that is correct. No, it never falls to zero. Today (the day after cleaning), the lowest it has been was 22 psi. I didn't build the pool, so I'm assuming it is the original gauge from 2019 when it was built.

High Pressure - didn't change when I cleaned cartridges

Hello everyone, Today I cleaned my Hayward cartridge filters. Mine takes 8 of them. When I was finished, I ran the pump on high, and the pressure gauge still read 30. How often is this a faulty pressure gauge? Or is there another problem I don't know about? This pool is only 4 years old...

Help Needed with Understanding Water Features and Pool Equipment

Thanks 1poolman1. 1. I do have the ability to do a schedule for spill over mode. I guess what you are saying is that I need to get the manual valves set right, then set up my automation to my liking. 2. The waterfall feature is the exact same as the spa spillover. The waterfall is just...

Help Needed with Understanding Water Features and Pool Equipment

Jim, When I turned on that red ball valve, the bubbler jets on the lounge step turned on. Then I turned off that Jandy valve next to it, and all the pool return jets went off. With more power to the bubbler jets on the lounge step. I have Hayward Omnilogic. So are you saying that I...

How to turn off Salt Cell when Pump is off

Ok great. Thanks for the quick response Jim. My VS pump has 3 settings, low-medium-high. If I was to run it 24/7 like you, what setting would I use?

How to turn off Salt Cell when Pump is off

Hello, I have read on here that you should not have salt cell on while the pump is off. Is that as simple as setting a schedule for the salt cell that aligns with the schedule for the pump? I didn't build this pool so I'm learning on the fly. When I click on the Hayward Omnilogic Salt...
