I’ve been using liquid chlorine in my pool since the falls.Now that it’s getting warmer, (in Las Vegas) the liquid chlorine is burning off quite fast. A day or two. Is that normal?

I drained my pool and have CYA back on track. What is best way to reduce TA? SHould I add muriatic acid? My PH is in range. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I need to have a high FC level because of the high CyA number. I will drain more water in the fall but what do I do in the meantime with testing the PH if FC is greater than 10?

Any secrets of LeafVac debris canister? I put the pool in “service mode” and remove lid of Leafvac but water continues to pour out of this device? I thought in “service mode” that would prevent water from overflowing. It’s difficult to put the lid back on. Thanks very mcuh.

Pool guy is adding a few tablets in the cholorinator and a 1/2 gallon of liquid chlorine. I don't see any algae or cloudiness. If PH test is invalid, make no adjustments to what? I did add muriatic acid to lower TA. Thanks,

I purchased a TFTestkit. Pro Version. These numbers are all off. Where in Pool math does it tell what and how much I need to add? This is getting frustrating. FC - 25.5 PH - 7.8 TA - 160 CH-1375 CYA- did not test. 3 days ago it was 30 CSI - 1.11 Temp - 87F

I’m using the TF-PRo kit.

I just received the TF-PRo kit. The container maxes at 5. I did the Free chlorine test had had to add 80 drops of R-0871 to get it clear. I have a pool service, now but looking to do this myself. Sounds like they are adding to much Chlorine. It’s 115 degrees here in Vegas so should burn off quickly.

Did a test for Chorline and PH. Chlorine was an orange color. The device only show shades of yellow. Does that mean I have too much clorine in the pool?

I’ve owned a pool since 4/22 and have had a pool company weekly check the chemicals. Their visits are shorter and shorter. I do the skimming, brushing and calcium removal already. At this point, i want to learn pool chemistry and be independent. I’m a bit nervous I may screw this up. Here goes!
