Thank you! Had a busy couple days but added 12 gallons of bleach during it and I think 6 bags of shock I had on hand. That’s all Home Depot had left. Wasn’t sure if that was the problem or something else. Do you think I just need more bleach for now while I SLAM based on my other numbers? Thank you!

Ok, the socks are working…should I be testing chlorine/adding bleach or just wait for the batches of CYA to dissolve? An overnight chlorine lost test? I read on here that it can take awhile for an accurate reading on CYA.

I ordered some powder cya on Amazon because our pool stores were closed today. I ordered sock filters for the skimmer basket. When you say to add cya to sock do you mean an actual sock or a skimmer basket sock filter? Sorry may seem like a dumb question.
